Frequently Asked Questions

What Can I Expect?

The only thing we’ll ask of you is simple: Just relax. Whether you’ve been here hundreds of times or just today, whether you’re a seasoned church veteran or you’ve never been in church before, you can anticipate an encouraging and enlightening experience. Our services are designed to be relevant, enjoyable and meaningful. Whatever your circumstances — single, married, single again, with or without children — and no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done — you matter to God. And to us.

Music

It would not be uncommon for a Sunday morning service to include a song that is 2 weeks old alongside a song that is 2 centuries old. The most important criteria for music at Parkway Place is that the lyrics we sing are both honoring to God and that they align with the truth of scripture.

Dress Code

Our dress code is that there is no dress code. Not everyone likes to dress up for church and that’s fine by us. After all, it’s not your wardrobe we’re interested in seeing. It’s YOU! Come causal – just as you are.

How Do I Know Where to Go?

Our greeters are some of the most friendly and helpful people in the city – they will answer your questions and help you and your family find your class and your way around. You’ll never be embarrassed or made to stand out. Relax and join us!

What About My Kids?

We have a Sunday morning Bible Study class for every age. There is loving childcare during the worship service for kids birth – pre-K and Children’s Worship during the sermon portion of our second service.

What About Special Needs?

We are a place to belongif you or your child/student has a special need.We have a ministry called “Team VIP” that is made up of trained volunteers who have a passion for helping in this area.
